Charles Browning receives Award

Birch-Sturm presented to worthy Lion

December 11, 2002 -- Charles Browning received the prestigious Birch-Sturm Fellowship at the Christmas party.  The fellowship was presented to Charlie by the club for his continued support to club activities and fund raisers.  The Birch-Sturm is awarded by the Wisconsin Lions Foundation upon receipt of a $1,000 donation by the club or an individual to the foundation's endowment fund.  Charlie has been a member since November, 1996 and recently completed his term as president of the club.  Other FDL Evening Lions that are Birch-Sturm Fellows are Mike Konen, Tom Clausen, Wayne Bargenquast and Bob Berryman.
